Snowflakes
Shiny and beautiful
With an intricate design.
A frosty exterior
Yet there's something that makes it divine.
Shimmering in the moonlight
There's a magic in the air,
The bitter cold mid-winter
Leaves a sign to show its there.
Gently the snow falls
To sleep upon a bed of white,
Or remain suspended in its flight.
Transforming into wondrous shapes,
Turning into snowflakes.
