Mr and Mrs Clark and Percy by David Hockney

Nice little Haiku.  I'm familiar with David Hockney's stuff, I'm not a massive fan. I've been learning what I can about art for a few years now and Hockney amuses me, because his work always appears childlike, particularly the way he uses blocks of colour. I prefer finer art with more detail but I find his pictures to be happy on the whole. I like the way he goes for the risque with some of his nude stuff and I do know him well enough (not personally, obviously) to have a favourite, The Desk, I'm not familiar with the Percy picture.  Thank you for making me think about this reply.
