ok, i dont mean to be rude (i really dont) but everyone on this site seems to quite ...well old and english teachers (not lat theres anything wrong with lat). So me myself being 18 am wondering if ther r any other reasonably young people who won't tell u off if u use 4 using text language in comments?

I can see where you're coming from, though, like, if I'm talking somewhere else I may use 'txt lang'. But here, and similar places, I try not to...it can be distracting on the eyes to some, I suppose.

I'm old, and I'm also new to the site, so I feel like I'm sticking my neck out here...
I don't use text language, and I don't like it, but each to their own. If I were your English teacher, I'd tell you off, but I'm not, and on here I think I'm more interested in your views than your grammar.

I don't see why anyone would "tell you off" for anything on here. If someone took the trouble to read and comment on something I wrote I'd thank them.
If you wrote a piece and it seemed to me as if you genuinely had lost the ability to use proper English - I mean that there was no reason for you to use text language, and if it seemed to me that the piece was really worth working on (ie very good in every other way), I might point out politely that perhaps it could be sharpened up by removing the textspeak. If I did that it would be helpful criticism which is what this site is all about. Not telling you off
I am not an English teacher. I am much older than you. I have two sons around your age, both of whom are able to write without using text language when appropriate.

i dont use text launguage in my poems...if i did then i wouldnt really blame anyone for telling me off, its only in comments where i use fb speek

i soppose so JessicaA, i didnt think of that, i only really use it in comments which would take up like half page if i didnt shorten it somehow =/
