Bully

There are people in this world
Who will try to get you down,
Sometimes it’s enough
To really make you frown

What is the use of crushing
Other people’s hearts?
Don’t let them get to you,
You are funny, creative, smart

Never let them bully you,
Now put your hurt aside
Because they are the ones
Who are ugly on the inside

Bullies aren’t worth my time
Now, don’t you agree?
It’s better to shout to the world
“I love being me!”

Than curling up inside yourself
And wanting to scream and cry
To say it doesn’t hurt
Would be to tell a lie

But I have something,
That they will never own
An individual soul
I’m not another clone
Just smile and be happy
And you’ll never be alone.
