The Little Giant (IP)

Harriet Hutchins was three-foot-three
When young she pulled up weeds with glee
Later she went into real estate with success
In her hometown she had the best business
Always optimistic , she was a true friend
With a huge heart troubles she’d mend
She could sweet-talk you with honesty
And do many favours for free
When she was young she went dating
To meet her hubby who got a high rating
Sadly he passed away and was mourned
Nevertheless Harriet continued to battle on
With wit and cheer she never ceased
And wise words were something that pleased
Everyone loved her except her business rival
Who lied and cheated as a mode of survival
Harriet lost her business connections
‘cause her rival made sure of rejections
Albeit she never lost her cheer
Incorrigible and immune to fear
Harriet worked her fingers to the bone
and seemed happy and ready to condone
Into the office she went every day
Until at a ripe old age she passed away
She was very much missed by her friends and colleagues
For someone three foot three her boots strode leagues
All thoughts that small folk they can’t
Harriet put to shame by being a little giant.
