There is a beast
which lives in all of us,
all snuggled up in the deep
darkest parts of us.
It strains at the bit for release.
The beast is a spontaneous nightmare
of mirrors reflecting mirrors,
collapsing in upon themselves
only to crash headlong back into
the beast which is all snuggled up
in the deepest and darkest parts
of all of us.
