Pulsed waves curve around my gravity,
lambent travelogue, return to me,
speak dimensions of enlightened immortality.
Man-manipulated mesmerising illusions in light
relieve and release this city's sullen sadness,
in precocious, tinted, radiating frequencies,
reflected on sandstone and billboards
of coral reef rose.
You bring
vibrating vivid choral swell
to harmonise fresh morning's sensual
shining orgy.
Hues that hint of a whole world
yet unseen, guessed
through other eyes, other lives,
seducing me; shaping muted hope
in minds violet shadows, to feel
warm, rich, redolent earth in other
lands beneath my feet, crumbled in my palms
one day.

I found it more visually colourful than sonic...
so let's just say it is sensational :O)
I can't understand why you don't get a bigger readership lenchenelf.
Still, I could say that about several others too.
There's no accounting for taste :O)

Some good lines here, I really like this:
"minds violet shadows"
and this too:
"Hues that hint of a whole world"

you may have set a record for alliteration in a poem! this is a very strong piece. i really love the first line..."Pulsed waves curve around my gravity,"...it's a sexy, sensuous line...
good work.

Thanks Jason :-) it was an attempt at a verbal Son et Lumiere (among other ideas) on a very grey December day. atb Lena

Very creative use of words. It has a playful tone and is very rich in substance.

Thank you Alessandro :-) I was having a little fun with the idea that light from the outermost limits of the universe carries history of its birth over the vastness of space and time it takes to reach us. all the best Lena
