I am an engineer by education,
Was a technocrat by profession?
I served for forty years
Amidst machines’ noisy sound and monotonous chorus
Heat, sound and dust,
Have covered my poetic feeling with rust.
Eyes have been seeing the lifeless structure.
Nose has been smelling the foul smell of sulphur
Mind was blocked with profit and loss account
Beyond factory, emotion and intellect could not cross and count
I had no time to stand and stare,
I had forgotten to appreciate the color of a flower.
You friends in ABC Tales have given me a chance
To enjoy the beauty of life with the nature’s enchanting dance.
From lifeless production schedule to your lively deliberation,
It is a long path and I wish to have another incarnation
Hence I beg pardon for not answering you
I need your company in ABC Tales, my membership to renew.
