You are standing on the mountainside side,
the river to your left.
You are empty and you’re hungry
and you’re feeling quite bereft.
As you step into the river
your troubles wash away.
You feel the gentle water,
keep your solitude at bay.
The tide that flows beneath you,
takes away your many woes.
The energy it carries
invigorates you head to toe.
As you step into the sunlight,
your body it is warm.
You feel at one with the creator,
as if you’re now new born.
For the light of the creator
is a river without end.
With its power and its gentleness
there’s nothing it can’t mend.
Its important to remember
that it is you that takes that step.
You place yourself within the water,
having measured your own depth.
