I write to you.
Thesaurus (lexicon) in hand, I backtrack over each word (utterance) by chosen (preferred) word (declaration),
Hoping (eager) to sound (seem) like I have (posess) a modicum (small amount) of your writing brilliance (radiance, luster, glow) ...as I try to convey (express) the depths (pits? nadir? egads, no) of my love (reverence, admiration. I’ll stick with love).
(I already knew what "modicum" meant.)
Yet, words will not suffice.
I try to convey those thoughts to you, and have you believe me, that You are refreshingly unlike any man I have ever met, in all the good ways!
I wouldn't change a thing about you.
But then, words will not suffice.
When I tell you that, yes, I love you; I cannot begin to use words to tell you how I know that this is true. Maybe it's because you have touched my soul, embraced me for being sufficiently "me", and helped me to reach out to my gods once more.
No, there are no words sufficient to tell you that you are my comfort, my inspiration, my muse, and my love.
Words will not suffice.
Maybe I need to use body language (i.e. hugging, kissing)!

Nice, like the way the first paragraph easily change with the slight of word. Very good example of a love letter, great read.

a sweet little ditty and a refreshing side dish away from the normal overdramtic writing I usually encounter.
very well done, very humorous.

Sometimes little ditties speak dramatic volumes between the lines...but, naw...this was a fun piece to write for someone who also appreciates the written word.
Thank you for your comments!
