from the ABC set POETRY - A Passage of Motion 2

with
Rapture eyes
above the
plunge
of shear cliff
perched on a
bone-white tree
against the
green

through misty
glaze
his gaze
penetrates
where valley
meets
a waterfall of
movement.

The Prince of
stillness
lifts in graceful
searching,
his footprints
a shuffle of wings.

I like the 'bone-white tree against the green' especially. Is 'Rapture' meant to be a pun on 'raptor'? Rh

Rh---Yes. Very observant. And thank you for your reading my work. Much appreciated. Do you think I should stick with Raptor? As you can see, lately some of my poetry is experimental. RLP

I guess it's really up to you! If you mean 'rapture' eyes, but with the twist that it is the eyes of a 'raptor', then that's fine! It was just something for you to think about!! and if it was meant to be raptor, and had been a slip, then I guess you would want to change it.
