He applauds you
the righteousness of His glory
a child of joy
within the love of your own family
He visited the sick
and healed their wounds, He
touched the blind with words of caring
and they met Him---Lord, Everlasting Light,
Lion of Judah, Lamb of God.
He ascended to the Garden, prayed
sought refuge in His Father
obeyed His command
to live for you, laying down all He had
ascended the hill for the last time, crucified
died, and was buried.
He rose again to forever watch over you.

Richard I could imagine this being read out during a sermon in a church, it was that good.

jolono, your comments are always so encouraging; thank you. I learned about the power of prayer during my stroke recovery, caused by a leaking aneurysm. And whenever I think abut a person, or situation, I enjoy writing a poem of caring for those in need. Cheers, Richard
