Resting

Clouds frame
a glowing
on the
closest side
of dawn
where sleepy
trawlers
prowl
for ocean’s
catch.

At home
a son’s
sleep is
on full
alert
upon a hill
surrounded by
dreams --

sun gathers
speed
clustered
seagulls awake
and dory
boats enjoy the
plow of
gentle swells.
