fingerprints gobbling chip bags
and tidbits of pizza

Today’s city is a mirror
of similar intentions
where throw away citizens disappear
into urban cracks
and missed opportunities shunt
ideals into alleys of
forgotten dreams
sometimes one escapes—
bypasses the rules
leaps over bureaucratic shuffles
arising with freedom.

Thanks much, jolono. The things that surround us make for good subjects to write about, Eh? Have a special day today. R PS. I have an interesting one fermenting in my mind, in fact has taken over with ideas jumbling about---now to put it together--it's called, Charlie.

Hello Julie, I enjoy reading your kind comments. They are quite funny and you should try and put some of your stories into a book and pass along to your relatives. Have a wonderful day. Right now, it is so hot, not used to it, that we cover up all our windows, like going back to cave-man/woman days. Cheers, from Richard and Esther ps. hugs.
