Holding on to the memory of a man,
A man who is not yet a memory,
For he sits in the corner and whispers
Between short breaths,
Where once he did shout,
And now nobody hears his silent voice,
Instead they remember his roar.
So let him go,
Let him become the memory,
Before his whisper imprints
Subconsciously.
Let him go on
As the giant
In your mind.

Really like this sam - says a lot in very few words, which I guess is what good poetry is all about. :-)
