She climbed aboard the bus
and ambled limply up the stairs
her overweight eyelids slouched
her lungs of steamy breath
crumpled heavily
in the seat behind me
“Look at them” she wheezed
quietly leaning forward
turning her face to the window
“The hysteria of consumerism at it’s best…
city centre Saturday fever…
all those young pretty robots
and old obedient dogs…”
I sighed in agreement and replied
“the pavements look filthy”
then she looked me in the eye
and smiled knowingly
“yes my dear - and time
appears to be slipping
from everybody’s grasp”

Hi the unfolding head,
this is a very interesting observation of a situation
on a bus.
As the lady said time does appear to be slipping
from everybody's grasp, a very true statement.
Thanks for the read.
Jenny.

Hi the unfolding head,
that's great that you enjoyed the music, it's the
kind of music you just want to kick back and relax
to. It takes me back to my younger days, of not
having a care in the world, if you know what I mean,
anyway glad you enjoyed it.
Jenny.
