are torn from this heavy, enormous space between my arms.
are the shelter for the nakedness in me.
are the leaving of emptiness, the fading of gloom.

Thanks, Pia. I'm happy that you see merit in it.
I was worried that people might find it a bit gimmicky but I like the interactive element of
the reader filling the blanks and thus becoming a part of the poem; uniting with the poem the way that love is a union.
