Censorship

from the ABC set Poems

Here comes the bloody censor man;
the scissor man, to cut
and snip away bad body parts;
offending boobs and buts
but no horror or violence, please
except for war; for war is just
and no sex, nudity or sleaze
besides sweet, sticky money lust.

Here comes the bloody censor man
to blind our eyes; cut off our ears;
to burn; to banish and to ban;
to shape our minds; to prune and shear.
“Philistines!”, shout we vile defilers
for we know that snipping sound’s Delilah.

Shoe of course is absolutely correct. Some of this reminds me of Dylan, from me that's praise indeed.
