“On those who’re great of heart” –
Man should praise the strong and agile heart,
those whose love leaps hurdles and runs miles;
those who, with bold hearts, score all loves goals;
those who’ve wrestled sorrow and still smile.
“On man’s great ability” -
Unto all the living, Nature gave her gifts;
some, she made the strongest; some, she made most swift;
She gave man the blessing of his heart and mind;
tools, that he might use them , to be wise and kind.
"Absence or Opportunity" -
To all of hollow heart,
the worlds an empty place
and sorrow sees but absence
where happy hearts find space.
"Out of courage we make our hopes"
Sometimes we have no eyes to see the stars;
sometimes can’t tell our own tears from the rain
and confuse loss of hope with loss of heart
but seek courage and we find hope again.
"The power of a little hope"
A little hope may build a nation,
but fear is the founder of none.

Thankyou, Blessing. I have a great love of proverbs and sayings and I know that their language has influenced a lot of great poets like Shakespeare
and Blake.
