I am retired. Love writing short stories, in particular stories for children. I have travelled a lot, collect British stamps up to the year 2000. I am an amateur genealogist and am writing a history of my family that I have traced back to 1537.
I have written four novels for children, numerous short stories, a collection of myths and fables and some poetry. I am currently developing a series of short stories that I hope will form into a novel set in the 1950's. It centres around a ficticious venue in the East End of London called "The Pie Shop". The stories are about those who went there, I'm trying to reflect some of the atmosphere of that rather troubled and confusing period. I have contributed to ABC before, was away for a while, but have replaced my previous work and added new pieces.
