Thanks Jack.
I have a friend (Roger Davis) who's amazing at art and design and web design. He did this for me, his contact details are on the site. Sadly, the only thing unfinished about the site is my writing (notice the crappy formatting - my fault!), and it needs to be sorted.
I love it too and am eternally greatful to him for it. He even did it for me before finishing his own!

Happy Saint Valentine's day.
Saint Valentine is the patron Saint of furniture stores, shoe-shops and credit card debt.
Valentine was a store-keeper in Rome, who, with St. Marius and his family, assisted men who were being persecuted and being forced to spend their afternoons in his stores with the wife/girlfriend/eunuch/concubine buying new togas or browsing for sandals.
He finally decided to renounce his life in retail and provide marriage guidance counselling full time after witnessing a poor unfortunate, wretch of a man being shouted at -"Rufus, I couldn't possible have that lectus - I wanted the one with a velvety covering, you know like Antonia has in the front room of her villa, although I can't quite see why she bothers that awful mosaic floor which is just so pretentious..."
He was apprehended, and sent by the emperor to the women's league of Rome, who commended him to be beaten with high-heeled-sandals, and afterwards, to be beheaded. He was executed on February 14.
Ignore that old curmudgeon. Valentine's Day is commerical tosh - so ignore the commercial tosh bit and send someone you love a message that you love them.
Tony, so sweet. Bless.
I'm getting in the mood listening to ‘Woman’ by the Anti Nowhere League.
Lady P is getting in the mood by taking the wheels off of my wheelchair and hiding them.
Well, I agree that Valentine's day has become another way for shops to make us spend money at a slow time of year.
However, I very much like getting handmade anonymous cards, and this year is the first I have had no secret admirers for 10 years. (I'm not bothered, obviously. Ha!) How come when I was in relationships I always got cards from secret admirers, and now I'm single I don't?
Not that I'm bothered, obviously.

Talking to the fishmonger in Norwich market I discovered there has been a run on tuna steaks today. He said it's the same every Valentine's day.
What do you think this means?
Valentine's day is shite,
If a boyfriend thought, gosh, hannah is so lovely I would like to buy her some flowers, I would think, how kind.
If however, there is an assigned day when they feel they have to out of obligation, I would say, piss off.
It does not mean anything.
Call me a cynic, sorry to piss on the parade.
Fergal, I reckon the tuna steak thing might be cos boyfriends like to cook for their lady on valentines.
They generally think girls are funny about their weight and tuna steak is that famously healthy luxury dish that health magazines tell you you can eat with two whole sesame seeds and feel fabulous.
I reckon (check the Norwichism)

Yes, Tim, she has a name but I don't want to use it on the internet. It's not my place. I'm wierdly paranoid about it.
So Mrs. Enzo it is. Anyone who desperately wants to know her identity can email me. But that would make you scary and odd.
Hmm. I await Tim's email....
Span - couldn't agree more. i will not be obliged to show my appreciation of my g/f. On principle, i will try to do it everyday except this one.
Having said that, I enjoyed sending her a really crappy (free) ecard yesterday, having found out that supposedly, yesterday was international "I value our friendship day". Well, it made me laugh.

That is hilarious but for all the wrong reasons.
I had one of the biggest arguments with a friend on national 'I value our friendship day'!
It was also a full moon, I blame that.
enzo, I reckon you may have the right attitude, appreciate what you got.
Now, there you go, that is as cheesy as I get.
Off to stamp on cupids pretty blond curls.

Valentine's Day is horrible. I am with you span and Enzo, if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend, you should not limit shows of affection to this one, horrible (normally rainy) day in February which has become this huge commercial event for makers of teddy bears, card companies, florists and restaurants that sell oysters.
And what is it with oysters anyway? They look like...actually, I don't want to think about it because they make me feel ill. Certainly not the food of love. The way to my heart lies in Soreen Malted bread, blood oranges and chocolate buttons.
Well, I had a good day. We strolled into Caley's just after lunch and there were plenty of seats free. So we had chocolate truffle coffee and fondue.
I'm not a particular supporter of Valentine's day, and I've had bad ones in the past, but all the rancour about whether it's worth it or not is easily as contrived and pointless as the day itself. Nearly as commercial too, these days.
