I echo Maisie - the ending was great. Your stories are well-crafted, and I think what I like best about them is the strange mix of the fairytale and the modern. Ulysses seems such a fairytale character, the piratey trickster, and the name grounds him in myth, but I also get the feeling that the story could well be happening today in some far away land...More please!

I loved this, brilliantly written and kept me hooked till the end. knew something was going to happen but didn't expect that, yet it was so clear when looking back, kinda like the film Usual Suspects. Am just going to go and read the other piece now, hope it's as good as this. nobody

excellent plot and pace. I also had a real sense of your main character Smith and i loved his assumptions about the woman. It reminds me of the daemons in 'Northern Lights' Philip Pulman ( i think its Pulman too lazily to get up and look). Your true self revealed. A great read and a perfect ending. Juliet
