took me a long time to get my licence, failed it 3 times, gave up when i was about 22, returned to it about 9 years later, failed twice more, before passing on the 6th attempt, i'll always love chingford!!
congrats to the missus
Comgratulations Mrs Pepsoid.
I have learned on and off. Currently off. After the 6 month embargo after the old aneurysm I realised I had a choice: emphasize the problems I have and get a disabled person's freedom pass thus saving £100 on travel or minimise the problems I have and start learning to drive again. I went for the travelcard but when I finally move out of London in a few years time, I'll learn again.

Congrats, peps. This weekend you'll be out shopping for cuddly toys and vibrating seats. :) Does the car have a name yet?

We don't actually have a vehicle yet, Yan... and the car hire places we've started looking at want you to have had a licence for a year - frustrating!
Not cuddly toys and vibrating seats (yet!), but it's her birthday on Feb 9 and I was thinking of buying her one of those Jeremy Clarkson books/DVD's...
We've had an intense conversation about all the things we'll now (when we have a car) be able to do - like buy heavy sacks of potatoes and drive to France! :-)
