I agree. the voice sounds authentic and i really empathised with the character. i remember when i girl down my road got really ill and i was so jealous i briefly thought about throwing myself down the stairs. Juliet

Ha. Especially liked the paragraph about unspent dinner money later funding cider. Nicely written, it's true, although I found my attention wandering a little around the earlier stairs/pills part. Perhaps a little overwritten that bit? (like this post. Tsk.)
