There's a good chance of NOT seeing me on TV this weekend!

Last June, I was lucky enough to spend a day on a Time Team dig in Cheshire. This particular episode is being shown this Sunday.
My wife is a teacher at a local highschool and a group of the archaeology pupils were invited along. Naturally I found an excuse to go (driver and official photographer).
We were all very well looked after, and we actually got a chance to do do some excavating. I found a human tooth, which I'm sure had them rewriting the text books (in fact I'm disappointed not to get a mention in the Radio Times), and we also got a chance to gossip with the presenters. I'd especially like to thank Phil Harding who turned out to be a thoroughly nice bloke, and who found time to chat despite the hectic schedule; and Tony Robinson - we were warned beforehand that he could sometimes be a bit precious, but he was fantastic with the kids.
I managed to avoid the cameras quite well, but if you see some nosey bugger pointing a camera at anything and everything, it's probably me.

Go on my son. I'll keep an eye out. I once appeared for the infamous 15 minutes on..... Animal Hospital! Ahem. It was the gripping story of the removal of my dog's spleen. I had a supporting role. I was ill at the time - I was on Interferon - and I looked like a raggedy slapped-about scarecrow.
Good onya, gareth lad. Where abouts in cheshire was it? Not northwich? **blush** hehe... When the power of love overcomes the love of power, we'll find peace. - Jimi Hendrix

I once appeared (?) on the Jimmy Young show. Hangs head in abject shame.

Thanks for the comments guys. As it happens, I was right - I wasn't on it at all. I'm quite please about that!
