has written to me to let me know that he has been shortlisted for a major award:

Thanks for adding my book 'Body Parts: The Anatomy of Love' to the ABC Authors Page - this is just a follow up email to let you know that it's been longlisted for the Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award 2008 and that 8 of the 14 UK nominations are by my publisher, Salt, so hopefully that'll help get both it and Salt some more attention in the cut-throat world of short stories!

I really Salt too. Have The Short Review (http://www.theshortreview.com/) reviewed Body Parts yet? If they haven't, drop Tania a line and suggest it. For those of you that don't know, The Short Review is a website that reviews only short story collections. It's brilliant! I review for them a bit. Cheers, Mark
