What did you think of our Big Issue?

I'd just like to know what people thought about our edition. Constructive feedback would be much appreciated.

Just picked up my copy Tony, looks great, really like the pictures too. Hope it gets good exposure for the site. I've plugged it here too http://johnosbornepoet.blogspot.com/
I grabbed a copy of the Issue today (Poetry and Short story edition) 13.10.09. It was full of good tips on writing and has some great writing in it. I really liked Jennifer Pickup's poem and the advice from Tim Clare was useful too. Everyone should buy it !

Thankyou to those who have plugged it on all of your various blogs and/or social networks. If you haven't done so yet - please do it now!

Yep - got mine yesterday, and it put a big smile on my face. You people did a top job in your selections and presentation - it really shows off what's always been great about this site. "In English" was in there, which is super because it's one of my absolute faves from the site. And Fergal was in there too, which made me doubly happy because she's amazing. Hearty congrats to them and everyone else who appeared in it. I also have to say that I'm totally jealous of the little drawings of everyone, they're brill. I want one. Anyway, I don't have blog, but I've told Facebook about it, for whatever that's worth. Ben
I bought one last night but haven't had a chance to do more than glance through it. It looks very good.

Very impressed. Love the way it looks and the content. My sons are promoting it on facebook. It would certainly inspire me to join the site.
I like it very much - love the little pictures, and the mix of articles you have. The forums sound as if they used to be fun too. looks like you got a big new crowd of people in because of it. would plug it on facebook if i could

The more the merrier!

We look forward to it! Welcome, Diane.
AAAAArgh. I picked up the "Big Issue" last week and thought it was great, really interesting stuff. I have never written any fiction before but the thriller competition sounded fantastic to me. I have just spent the last ten days sweating over my first ever masterpiece. I just joined the site, five minutes ago; only to discover the competition has been cancelled, Oh woe is me, what do I do with my baby now? Paul
I thought it was really excellent. Great selection and a mention of Ely's infamous enema thread! jude

Thanks for the advice Enzo. I have just posted it, it is the first piece of fiction I have written since school and I don't remember how long ago that was. Anyway it shows how good that copy of the big issue was, it got me writing. What more can I say.
