Hi Beeme i dont know if you interested in poetry comps or story writing comps but if you google the poetry society they are currently running the foyles young poet of the year award for under 18s, you can submit as many poems as you like and if free!!! you get published in their anthologhy and get to go to a Ted Hughes writing weekend away if you win :)
and like Kahdai said you can probs just google writing competitions.
always check the rules though because sometimes you can't submit a peice of writing to more than one competition.
