Help! What do you like?

I wish to know if my writing is any good? And if you guys want to see more of it? I'm only 16, but I've been told by my family, and friends, and some others that they enjoy my writing. I wish to know if any of you believe its any good? Because if you like what I write, then I'll be sure to write more things like it. Thanks much. I've been checking out some of your guys' work. Everyone's writing is quite splendid. I thoroughly enjoy it all. Thanks. :)

This topic really does come up quite a lot doesn't it. Eds, I can't remember what happens when you create an account (early senility, no doubt) but maybe there could be a nicely-phrased summary of forum conventions and etiquette sent out as standard? CPC - Welcome on board. Looks like you've already got the attention of a couple of stalwarts (new and old) so well done on that. You've got a flair for imagery from quick scans, stick with it. Two bits of advice: 1) never trust spell-checkers and 2) start thinking about grand projects. I wish I had when I was 16!

Anything bigger than 500 words that's potentially publishable, performable or some such? So yup, a novel's good; but also a play, a collection of poems, a single epic poem, speeches, a TV series, a film, a full blown RPG campaign with at least 3 potential endings, lyrics, a critical opus. You tell us, that's the joy of it! :) Seriously though, you have a lot of time in life right now - us poor working types (well I would) would do bad things to nice people for a chance to have a couple of years in the bag to scrawl with. Do it!
