READING EVENT - THANK YOU

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to our reading event last night. The rest of the world may be going down the plughole but ABCTales reading events are still fabulous. No-one had a dodgy connection or any microphone malfunctions which I think was a first! We heard some old favourites and some new unpublished work and every single piece was a gem. It was a brilliant evening!

Thank you to our exceptionally talented readers, penny4athought, celticman, mistakenmagic, onemorething, jupitermoon, turlough, marandina, Sean McNulty, airyfairy and jane hyphen, and an extra thank you to airyfairy and onemorething for their help in organising and another big thank you to Mark Burrow for showing me how to work the hideously counter-intuitive Zoom software.

It was a really enjoyable evening and great to see the faces and hear the voices of some well known ABC names. Their amazing writing really did come to life when the magic of Zoom brought us all to life. So my thanks to them too.

Mark's an almost impossible act to follow as MC so you did brilliantly, insert. The whole thing ran without a hitch.

It was a pleasure to see and hear such a varied and diverse range of work. So many talented ABCTalers, for sure.

Another invaluable dimension to the site. Next stop... Christmas reading event!

Congratulations on a first-class job, Claudine. Even though I could not read, as my eyesight is somewhat impaired, I thoroughly enjoyed being a spectator. It was a pleasure to see familiar and unfamiliar faces on the screen and hear the skillful rendition of their work. Thanks to everyone for making this old man happy.
