You've got (another) fan there, Peps. Personally, I prefer rice cakes. You can eat a whole packet and be lighter than you were when you started.
you prefer rice cakes to pepsoid? hmmm, it's a tough call.

My kids love Ryvita, especially the sesame ones. My daughter especially loves them smeared with Marmite. Beats crisps hands down, any day. At least on the nutrition level...
Unless you think Pepsoid's crackers, Dan. I prefer crackers to rice cakes.
I prefer Pepsoid to crackers. Crackers are too dry.
lol..fruity. Ryvita is in the same league as marmite. It's a load of old outdated, foul tasting shit, propped up by not-so-clever advertising. Bit like Depeche Mode. Well said, 'Peaceful'. ;) Btw, cornflakes ARE quite good....really. Daddy, take the banana! Tomorrow it's Sunday! - Faust

I like Nottingham, peaceful. And I like you. Do you wanna mail me and we can develop a friendship which revolves around swapping dirty pictures of each other? Daddy, take the banana! Tomorrow it's Sunday! - Faust

blah blah blah guess who peaceful is? Yes, that old shit-stirring twat who has been, thankfully, absent for a long while. fuck off mykle
...and no, I am not missi nor one of his so-called acolytes. Meanwhile, have fun with the semi-literates. :-) fuck off mykle
' ...I like Marmite. I like Pepsiod, too. And Yan. I do not like bile and viciousness.. ' LMAO Now THAT'S an admission if you like!. And whogivesashit is correct, I am not he/she!

Whogivesashit? Well, exactly... I'm not a he-she either, Missi.
Continuing in the vein of the "I-went-to-the-shops-and-I-bought-" game... I like Marmite, Peaceful, Yan, Archergirl, Alan Benefit and Poetjude. I also like Davidstow Cheddar on hot cross buns! And I also like annoying Mississippi by doing this... :-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) pe ps oid ... What is "The Art of Tea"? ... (www.pepsoid.wordpress.com)

The All New Pepsoid the Second!

I've tried to like Ryvita and Marmite. But somehow, they just don't do it for my tastebuds. Now, give me a digestive and some strong chedder, and we're in business.
I like Depeche Mode, Marmite, Ryvita, cornflakes, Pepsoid, Yan2, lisah, (sorry, but don't like strong cheddar: I don't do cheese), alan_benefit, Missi AND whogivesashit. We all know the crankiest ones are the softest at heart. :-) French toast with maple syrup accompanied by a cup of strong coffee, now... THAT's a breakfast.
I like all of the above. Breakfast? Muesli with soya milk and chopped banana, plus a cup of herb tea. Favourite snack food? Apples - or Marmite sandwiches. Sorry... I'm an incurable health foodie! It's me age. I'm trying to look after what I've got left.
Your breakfast choices are both admirable and tasty, AB. Were I in a healthier frame of mind today, I would have an almost identical breakfast! (I do, in fact, eat muesli with soy milk and bananas!). I've been in a porridge mood lately, plain old porridge (quite thick) with raisins. No sugar. I love toast with butter and Bonne Maman apricot conserves, but it's too much yeast, fat and sugar to be good for one's health. The French toast was a Saturday morning indulgence. I can't help the coffee, however. I just love the stuff.
Porridge'n'honey... :-))) I've just bought a pot of Pink Grapefruit Curd - surprisingly tasty! Oh yes, I also like LisaH... and I used to like Depeche Mode, but they went a bit squidgy... but I don't like cornflakes. pe ps oid ... What is "The Art of Tea"? ... (www.pepsoid.wordpress.com)

The All New Pepsoid the Second!

I love porridge - though made plain, with a spoonful of olive oil on top and a sprinkling of sea salt. Try it. I packed up caffeine over Xmas, AG. Was drinking far too much. Switched to decaff, then to herb teas. Harder than I thought. Still not quite adjusted. Feel sleepy all the time. Green Day if I'm rockin', Underworld if I'm chillin'. *yawns and keels over*
Quitting coffee is a godawful endeavour, AB. I have fallen off the coffee wagon more times than I care to count. I do on occasion switch to decaf for awhile, and once I get past the crunching withdrawal headaches I'm fine. But then I'll have a full-strength 'leaded' one at a cafe, and it starts all over again. Whilst I am a great admirer of herbal teas, they just don't do the trick, unless I have a tummyache or need to sleep. Speaking of herbal teas: about a month ago my son started exhibiting symptoms of psoriasis or eczema (the doctors can't tell me exactly: first they thought it was impetigo and then 'lichen planus', ffs), and since the first dose of wretched antibiotics didn't do anything at all, I took him to a Chinese doctor. She took his pulse and said he had too much 'damp', and prescribed what could only be called a bunch of dried fungus and bark (including tumbleweed thorns, would you believe; I grew up pulling these things out of my bare feet). It stinks and tastes fetid when brewed up, but my son, who's eight, has gamely downed a cup of this twice a day for the past week, followed by a large gulp of honey as a chaser. Suprisingly (or not, depending on your opinion of Chinese medicine), his skin blotches have begun fading, and no new ones seem to be growing. I'm so proud of his manly stoicism in the face of an anxious mother's fussing, and I think my faith in natural medicine is being borne out. Yay!
AG: Yeah... I didn't have the headaches this time - maybe 'cos I weaned myself off a bit by alternating decaff. I've found the Dr Stuart's range of herb teas to be the best. The 'Vitality' and 'Triple Ginseng' varieties really do the trick. Great news about your son. My own skin prob (contact dermatitis on hands caused by newsprint and bleached paper) responds to nothing, except steroid creams (not a good idea long-term) or - of course - not handling said triggers at all. I visited a Chinese herbalist, though, who said she could "cure it". I didn't take her up on the offer - but maybe I'll give it further thoughts now.
I find "fruit" teas only taste "fruity" when you put loads of sugar in... which kind of defeats the object, does it not? pe ps oid ... What is "The Art of Tea"? ... (www.pepsoid.wordpress.com)

The All New Pepsoid the Second!

If it tastes good then do it, peps. I lived on milkybars and beetroot sandwiches for a while. I only eat one meal a day (at approx 8pm) and spend the rest of the day nibbling on hovis biscuits with cheese and grapes, cashews, and belgian waffles. I gotta love what I eat...or I don't eat, full-stop. I'm a buffet kinda guy. when I eat out, I always have a selection of starters as opposed to a main meal. I gotta put sugar into my herbal teas too. Truth is: If you aint infused them right in the first place then their gonna do naff all anyway. Fresh herb, covered for 15 minutes on simmer, strained. You whack a teabag into a cup and pour on boiling water you may aswell just eat the goddarn teabag, imo Daddy, take the banana! Tomorrow it's Sunday! - Faust
