Hovis I have read several of your poems but I cannot see where to comment so I'm doing it here.

I really enjoyed Boy, Fruit Rots, Opportunity Knocking and I think it was Raising Gertrude.

It was also lovely to meet you and Helen on Friday.

I didn't know Verdana was there. Do you know her?

Ah, was wondering who Verdana was and now I know ;) Moya to say my friend Helen was impressed would be an understatement. She was stunned by the readings and so was I. And I'm def going to check out everyone's work on here. Great to meet you both and thanks for your encouraging comments. I'm not going to be such a stranger as before! judexx

Yes, Jude, It was a great evening all round. I couldn't stop talking about it on the way home and I have given my daughters a right ear bashing since.

Jude, it was great to see you again. I was going to have a chat with you afterwards but you'd gone. Lovely to see you. Patricia, you naughty girl ... I was worried that I hadn't spoken to Verdana after reading her work ... it was a blessing to meet her too.

So sorry to miss you Sooz. Had to depart sharpish as friend Helen (who's floor I was kipping on)had cousins arriving from Mozambique. So we had to get back in case they were standing on the doorstep!! I'd have loved to have stayed and socialised and caught up with you. Helen loved your story btw. Is much of it on here???? Lovely to see you too.

Cheers for the comments Kev. It's so good to get out there re lit events isn't it! I'm making my way through your book of poems. That was a real bonus - getting a literary freebie :) And thanks for the heads up on your title Sooz. As said am def going to familiarise myself with everyone's work. Hopefully there'll be room to comment - my stuff seems to have lost that ability. Maybe I should let the web editors know I've come out of retirement...
