this reminded me of marathon man, the unrelenting torture that would only end if he admits what he doesn't know.

But then the end changes that.

I am not sure whether i like this or loathe it.

What do others think?

in terms of style it is well executed it has stayed with me all day.

An interesting read.

I started reading this and wanted to stop because I didn't like what I was reading (not the writing - that's good - but the content) It too reminded me of the Marathon Man. But I didn't stop reading it - read it to the end. I guess that says something. Must have been difficult subject matter to write.

You managed to capture a snapshot of depression, suicidal tendencies and regret all at the same time. The woman across the way was fitting. After all, when a person is depressed, it seems like everybody is looking through. Am a going too deep? Anyway, thought provoking and well written.
Sorry i gave wrong link for Karma, the link above is Decisions which as Lisa comments captures desperation well. http://www.abctales.com/node/550634 Karma Juliet

Hm. Disturbing subject, well written. I would say the dialogue and descriptions could maybe do with being made a little less action film-like, but the images pack a powerful punch.
I just read the correct story for this flag, and found it very disturbing. All your work is well written, and this is no exception. I now have a wealth of painful images to coat my day with!
sorry if it was disturbing, hope it didn't upset Lisa. Jem, I take it you've never tortured anyone? A big part is in letting them know what's going to happen, makes it worse. Only joking, I awoke the next morning panicking that I'd accidently put it under autobiography. The letting them know bit I thought about though because the waiting is often worse than what's going to actually happen. 'Wait till your father gets home' sort of thing. Cheers for the flag. by the way I'm neither suicidal or a masochist so I'm glad I painted the picture convincingly. nobody
Really relieved to hear that, Nobody. WAS beginning to wonder!!!!!!! What are you going to surprise us with next? The mind boggles! Seriously though - keep up the good work. Tina

Harry, no worries, I cut my teeth on horror and gore (in stories of course) so I enjoyed your tales. Well, as much as one can enjoy suicide and torture. :)
