Golden cherries and scrolls

I now know what golden cherries and scrolls are used for and I have two cherries and one scroll but they disappear each time I log in. They are there before I log in but not after.

I see that Sooz has a golden cherry probably more. I wonder if hers do the same.

Anyone have an answer?

That does seem really odd Moya. If they are there when you log in, attached to pieces, then I can only think that those pieces have been been picked as either 'pick of the day' -golden cherries or in the case of a scroll picked as 'story of the week (prose)". If these pices have been picked Tony will almost certainly have flagged these editor choices in the comments section when or shortly after his announcement (usually Friday afternoon). Have a look at the pieces in question and if you can see the 'pick of the day/week' message from Tony then they should have the coloured clip art to go with them. It should be there all the time too. Perhaps footsie could look into it.

Hello Scratch, Yes, I have had two picks of the day and a story of the week so hopefully they are not there by default. I just find it odd that one minute they are there and the next they are not. Thanks anyway Scratch. Moya

I (proudly!) have a twirly mosaic for poem pick of the day and week and it seems to be there all the time. And I still can't believe my eyes! Linda

And thoroughly deserved it was for that effort that you put on show Linda, it was a super piece. It won't surprise me when it happens again either. But poor Moya's seem to be the Brigadoon of ABCtale's clip art. Spooky!

Don't worry Moya-nobody can take them away from you but yes sounds mysterious..Imagine keeping everything in order on this site- Footsie's got his hands full!
Hello Pia, You are not wrong there. Footsie does have a lot on his plate and I really don't know how he keeps all the balls in the air. He is an absolute whizz when it comes to the technical side of computers. Right now I wouldn't dream of even asking him about my disappearing golden cherries or scroll precious though they are to me. Apart from all that he has a wonderful sense of humour too. Moya

Footsie you're a star - a diamond! Thanks cherries and scroll all present and correct, sir! Moya
