Really enjoyed this poem. Am a crossword fanatic myself and could really identify with some of the verses which were cleverly worded and constructed. I.e.:
".........For each hint and clue a hundred words
Have filled the grid and stil they make no
Sense at all
In snatched
Hours."

I loved this. Crosswords always make me crazy though. But I get along well with them :)

Thanks for the comments. Juliet has grasped the whole point of the poem, but I suppose it could be read as a commentary on crosswords in general. Yes, I'm a crossword fanatic, I love words and the way they read in different ways.
