Alan, stick your blog address on, i love your style of prose. I know what you mean about keep doing it and getting nowhere, i've been through a period like that for past few months. But recently i seem to have have found my mojo again, still not getting anyway, but feeling less pressured by it. To try is better than wishing i had and i write because i can't stop and i can't imagine not doing it now. Its become a habit. I kind of came clean with my friends and family and admitted i was finding this writing lark hard - and just admitting the vulnerability and realising they didn't see me as a failure, far from it, they said at least i have the guts to try has released the pressure i put on myself. Poet Jude gave me some great advice to. So get back on it, stick some stuff into competitions, you never know... Juliet
