'The Writer's Tale'

I am presently reading 'The Writer's Tale' by Russell T Davies and Benjamin Cook. A disarmingly frank exchange of e-mails between the two writers, during the process of creating Series 4 of Doctor Who.

I commend it as an insightful read for any aspiring writer. You don't need to be a Doctor Who geek to appreciate it.

Lots of really practical stuff about being a professional writer. Better than those theoretical 'self help' books.

It's expensive (rrp £30), but I've borrowed my copy from the library. (Also available from 'The Book People' for £8.99.)

Take a look. It's worth it.
