Getting published
I have been using the YouWriteOn site for some time. A useful exchange of reviews and advice on stories from other writers. They asked if I wanted to publish one of my children's novels and of course I said yes please. So it was published. It's called Blackmore3's Treasure and is now on all the wholesalers lists. I haven't a clue how many copies have been sold but I hardly care anyway. The sight of a book with my name it is almost enough. It gets even better. The highly respected and well read magazine Hertfordshire Life carries in it's December issue an interview with me, Derek G Rogers, and reviews "Blackmore's Treasure" The editor writes as follows: "....TAKES THE READER ON A TRIP THROUGH HISTORY, BUT WITH A DIFFERENCE......TOBIAS ALLINSON GETS A UNIQUE INSIGHT INTO THE PAST, MEETS CHARACTERS HE'S READ ABOUT IN HIS SCHOOL'S HISTORY BOOKS AND HAS A CHANCE TO SOLVE THE MYSTERY OF THE LEGEND OF BLACKMORE'S TREASURE......AN INTRIGUING AND CHARMING BOOK" Claire Bourke...Editor.
And it all started with posting short stories on ABCtales some years ago. So my grateful thanks to you Tony, and all at ABC.
