Just out of intrest and well lets face mind numbing boredom I thought I would ask
Which do you find is hardest to get your reader to do
a)Laugh
or
b)cry?
It would depend on if it was intentional or not, then it could be either.
In fact it would be that answer anyway, it would depend on what you feel you can express best. If you feel you can relay both as equally I'd say comedy, better to make someone laugh.

Well I don't generally see my readers' reactions, but I certainly find it easier attempting to make 'em laugh... I find it easier to write in the comic vein, than... well, anything else, really...
