The Cream

Has anyone else noticed that the best stories get the most reads. How does this happen? Maybe it's like the cream rising to the top of the milk.
I've noticed this on my account. Anyone else found the same thing?

I guess the cherrypicked stories/poetry is read more beccause it is cherrypicked; people might find it a worthwhile read or something. I find that with my Storm Six chapters, with the cherrypicked ones being read more than the non.

Yes the cherrypicked stories would attract more reads but I don't think that's the whole answer. I wonder if there are other attractions like comments from unknown people, or the name of the story/poem or maybe people read things because they've seen your name before,or because of recieving a comment from that person. Some stories keep on being read quite a long time after they have been posted... I think that's a bit of a mystery too! Ray
