TIME TO SPRING INTO ACTION!
Writelink’s annual Spring Fever poetry competition has launched with a bang with some superb entries all ready appearing on its new open voting site! Way out in front with ...
18 votes and 8 comments is ... A Promise of Spring!
The organisors are looking for spring like poems capable of toppling this from the head of the Site Shortlist so if you’ve a spring like poem you can express in a maximum of 40 lines you could be in with a chance of winning one of our top prizes.
To help, the contest has a very varied collection of photographs in its site Gallery which can be used to provoke inspiration and illustrate submission.
Alternatively, you can upload your own graphic and then it’s time to get to work and let the world know about your entry because this is ...
No ordinary competition!
Spring Fever gives you the tools to invite your friends, relations and work colleagues to vote and comment on your entry. The more votes you accrue the more chance you have of making the Site Short list and getting your work seen by the public.
However, final judging will be by human judge, Glenise Lee, who will be keeping a close eye on all the entries! At the end of the contest she’ll add up to 10 poems of her own choosing to those generated by the Site Shortlist.
Site Short List? This is generated by the number of votes each entry receives and guarantees the top 10 poems a place on the Judge’s Short List …
but ..!
The poem with the highest number of votes will not necessarily be the winner! As said previously, final judging is by human editor!
Entries are limited to 100 and the contest closes on the 21st March.
