Howdy from Buffalo

I realized that I haven't really introduced myself to all the wordsmiths here, and seeing how closeknit community it seems to be, I should say hi to everyone.
My name is Drew, from Buffalo, NY...which is near Niagara Falls for all you Brits here.
My interests are varied, but are not limited to: Celine, Cioran, Bukowski, David Berman, Contintental Philosophy, Sartre, Camus, et cetera...So if anyone else is interested in similar works, by all means feel free to chat...Cheers

Greetings, Mr Vent! ;-) ~PEPS~ “There is no spoon.”

A big welcome from the management - it's not that tight knit a community and we do like to welcome new members! I discovered the joys of Bukowski through this site but must admit myself stumped at the names Celine and David Berman. Any clues?
That's not Celine Dion is it?

Celine was a French author, most notable for "Journey to the End of the Night" and "Death on the Installment Plan"....just really good reads with a very unique style.....David Berman has one book of poetry out, "Actual Air", he's more well know for his band The Silver Jews and collaboration with Stephen Malkmus.....I highly suggest his collection.
Hello there both. Yes this is a strange place, but it's great to. Enjoy!
But it's great to................... what?
