Discussing Politics in Public.

Does anyone enjoy discussing politics, particularly related to current affairs when applied to the plots of novels?

(Or failing that, when applied to literature and the arts in general.)

I tend to analyse most things first of all in a political context, being a political animal.
Sounds awfully Aristotelian, Zoon Politikon, and all that. But seriously, Tony, do you really discuss the nitty gritty stuff, like oil politics in novels and stuff like that, in the street, as it were? That's the kind of discussion I'm after. My webpage is at: http://www.bookscape.co.uk
