China Book
Hello ABC forum visitors. I ask for your suggestions with regards a thing. Here's the thing: I'm moving to China tomorrow morning. I shall be teaching English, and learning kung-fu. The contract is for 6 months, and then I'll go to Japan, and travel a bit also.
I'm presently a dizzy cocktail of past anxieties, present hang-ups, future excitements, and eternal joys.
I have everything packed, but I've left out all the shite I've been addicted to in my 30 years of life - namely, books, musical discs, and movie cartridges.
But, having packed everything, I see I have room for one more object, and I plan for it to be a book. However I'm having a hard time choosing which book. So far, I've settled on Ludwig Wittgenstein's Philosophische Untersuchungen, because I was thinking it might be a good thing to learn German while teaching English in China.
But maybe that's not the right way to go about it book-wise.
Any suggestions for the book I should take with me to China are most welcome.
What should I bring with me book-wise in your opinion?
