ABCtales Magazine Issue # 15

The August 2009 issue of ABCtales Magazine is now available free to download from:

http://groups.google.co.uk/group/abctales-magazine

featuring the best in new poetry and short fiction from abctales.com this summer, as selected by the guest editor: Ewan Lawrie.

Contributors include Insertponceyfrenchnamehere, Chris Clatworthy, Clare Howdle, Chelsey Flood, Sarah Wilson, Rosie, Chuck Woww and John Wilks.

Please feel free to print and distribute as many copies as you will. Read it on the beach and look really cool (wear it as a sunhat).

Next issue will be edited by John 'mcmanaman' Osborne.

Following that, there will hopefully be a bumper edition in December. A special crossover with UKAuthors, if there is sufficient interest. Please nominate or submit work for inclusion to abctalesmag@googlemail.com. It's not too early to be thinking about Xmas.

Nice work Ewan. Thanks.
Ditto. Thanks Ewan.
thank you Ewan - I like the graphics and especially chuck's bio - what a fascinating life. are you glad it's over?

Yes it's been a roller-coaster ride IPFNH. Wait till you see the movie starring George Clooney.
eeewww george clooney? does it have to be?is it too late to change the casting?

George Clooney? Is Peter O'Toole dead then? ...I know Marilyn Monroe is!
peter o'toole - much better idea. If he is dead, then how about bill nighy? marylin monroe, even if alive, would be a bit of a wild card

Congrats Sarah on getting in the mag and what a lovely photo; just as I had pictured you ;)
Buddhist architecture! Must remember that one! ...I'm just popping over to Thailand love,...yes, that's right, studying Buddhist architecture; why else would I want to go? ...nothing else there worth going for really, that I can think of...now, where's me man-boob measuring stick? lala lalala didely dum dum dum...
Congrats Insert, chuck, Tina, Chelsey, whiskey and wilky ;)
Well done Ewan, great job and very entertaining cross-section; should fly out of the doctors' surgery ;) especially given the picture on the cover of a cherry giving birth; class!
Chris thank you - and please continue to imagine me this way:)

Gawd, dunno why it did that - said comment hadn't posted, so would I be so kind as to 'press 'post comment' button again - so I did, with result as you see. Still at least Ewan gets to be congratulated twice :-) http://www.ukauthors.com http://www.ukapress.com
Have just downloaded the mag today and am very impressed. (Software problem resolved) Good stuff, Ewan. You did ABC proud, as did, of course, all the contributors. The front cover is certainly 'different' but it does tend to grow on one;-) Oh and thanks Chris and Julie.
