'beer tent hub of math rock hate' really is a treat for the tongue and seals the deal for me.
Can I nick that for the name of my next math rock band?
Just a wee niggle, I myself would have put an 'a' in the Atrium line; although having looked at it again, the "feel" is right.
Hey,
thank you richardw.
Yes of course you can nick it for a band name.
I heartily approve.
The lack of an 'a' was oversight, consider it changed.
Glad it sounds nice, thats wha was trying for.
Span
'Gritten' is such an awesome coinage. Proper mot juste, there. I am going to half-inch it. Really nice image too.
A-schmoo a-schmoo a-schmoozity schmoo.
Yes, this is ace. Gritten is ace. I love the repeated strong sounds at the end of lines: "math rock hate", "oil skin drum lungs."
There's tasty rhyming in there too.
Schmoo indeed.
Yes, this is pretty good, and again in keeping with span's insistence on torquing language, creating it, and the sounds a bonus. RichardW: haven't seen you around in a while.
