Thanks, thank you, cheers. Fergal, thank you muchos for calling me your favourite poet, a great honour indeed. Got a bit nervous when I read that, think it was excitement. And thank you Mark for flagging it. Dont think any of me poems have ever produced a 'woohoo' before. That pleases me. The mundane detail thing is fun I only worry that it is boring. I agree that is terrific. Span is probably my favourite poet. The last line of this I like a lot, it just tops the whole shebang off nicely. I remember span saying once on here that she knows she likes a poem when she wishes she had written it herself. Well I wish I'd written this, but I know I never could because it is definitely, distinctively, span.
