Good Dads Get To Meet The Queen

Hi I tried to post a review on of Blighter's Of Course You Can Meet the Queen but it wouldn't let me because I've never bought anything off Amazon. I prefer bookshops. So, I am posting my review here. Read the review then buy the book!

What a lovely story of dreams and determination. A little girl wants desperately to meet the Queen and through the dogged determination, her wish comes true. This is a 21st century fairy story with thermos flasks and silver necklaces and a little bit of realism in the form of anti-royalist protesters for good measure. Of Course You Can Meet The Queen! has all the ingredients that children will love, attractive illustrations, an enchanting story, and a because it is told from the child’s point of view, it is simple enough for its target audience to engage with. What is especially refreshing about this book is that the child actually has two loving parents and the dad is portrayed in a positive light. It is Dad who pursues the child’s dream and makes it come true. Good Dads are a rare commodity in children’s literature, so all the dads out there should get up and buy this book now. Apart from that - the Queen eating sausages and wearing racy high heels. Classic! We are very amused!

It is a quite brilliant read, very well illustrated and part of the proceeds go to charity - what more does anyone need to know!

you need to go into the future Christine and travel back in time to edit old forum posts. I do it all the time, so don't worry.

There are plenty of other online stores you can buy it from, and on which you can no doubt leave your review, Christine. Many do free shipping, too. See here --> http://www.best-book-price.co.uk/Product-266239/0956781101-Of+Course+You... Good luck with sales, Blighters! http://www.ukauthors.com
Can't agree more christine, I behaved quite rudely at the abc gathering in january because I was handed a copy and couldn't put it down 'til I'd read it twice and examined every brilliant illustration. Thought it was wonderful

Yup - I've just ordered mine and can't wait the week or 10 days it will take to get Downunder! Check out my (updated but still in progress) website: http://www.francesmacaulayforde.com
