So, who had a bunch of pikey teenagers in pathetic costumes that look like a talentless four-year old made them, knocking on your door begging for money?

Trick or treat?

The trick is I'll beat your head with a baseball bat. The treat? The world will contain one less pikey.

I am supposed to be looking for accomodation but as I don't have a deposit this is quite tricky. Instead I am in the library wasting time on the internet, which feels like excessive luxury.

What can I do other than listen to Jeff Buckley's Grace (Thanks pesky) and send emails? Is there more to life than doing that? Do you think there's money in it?

Why did I laugh myself silly at that heading in the newspaper? I hadn't read the story, it was obviously tragic - but so Monty Python. Should I seek professional help?

It's always struck me as odd that we symbolise a fair amount of torture in our society. Even in religion we often worship a tortured young man, nailed to a cross by his hands and his ankles, and stabbed through the side with a spear. A gory vision that we often wear replicas of around our necks and place pictures of in our houses. Other religions must see Christianity as a weird sort of cult that worships torture.

Really really liked this. Needed to reread a couple of times, and... wow!

Thanks,

Has anyone had a truly spooky, apparently inexplicable experience? I don't mean the 'I was trying to wake up when this person came in and sat on the end of the bed' ones, I mean something really creepy. I haven't by the way, which is why I was asking you lot.

"Who travels for love finds a thousand miles not longer than one"
