My stories

Mislaid Birthday

3 years old, you melted the rain I wrapped you in solace so fast 13 years old, he riled your disdain I paid us a specious forecast 23 years old, we erred you away I swallowed myself to a fault

First Taste

Such strange dessert has claimed this chair It sweetens the season with feathered care Sweeps so long, my palate claims As glances lay heavy as maidens' names Rhythms retire to winded retreats Words clutter closely like steps through the streets

To Grasp

A standing face, caught in time Your eyes the green of golden lime The holding gaze of youthful throws Preventing frankness stranger eyes can't know We seal the thought with laughter kept I thought of it still as conscious slept

Such A Life

He meets me full and carries my eye My skin so swept and placed in hand We blend so sweet, no mark to betray So tall, in our sights and this gracious plan We meet beyond, above such a tale In silence, this noise does delight

The Linen Waltz

Berated by privacy I am fitful to share But that's all I wrote That's all I could wear
